First grant from the Municipality of Lansingerland

The municipality of Lansingerland has become the first municipality in the Netherlands to provide us with a direct subsidy for the sanctuary of found turtles over 2024. We are very grateful and we hope that more communities will follow to support our work and help all those dumped turtles. So that we can start building the turtle reserve in the near future!

Lansingerland is located in the metropolitan region of Rotterdam and The Hague. The municipality has around 63,000 inhabitants and consists of three villages: Bergschenhoek, Bleiswijk and Berkel en Rodenrijs
