mini man turtle saved!

This mini man went for a walk last week out of his pond where he was put as a baby and had stayed 1.5 years.

With his 4 cm, ice cold and a severe pneumonia he was not as fast as he would like and that was his luck. In the same street he was intercepted by a neighbor and the animal ambulance came to pick him up.

Via Amivedi the owner was found who had no place to house this tropical guy properly indoors. We had the animal ambulance offer from the shelter to "renovate" him and to house him if the owner would give up.

Renamed Speedy, he now stays in a nice warm tray, he gets medication and we hope that he will soon live up to his new name. Unfortunately, he is still very narrow and weak. He can't swim either, he's floating. Speedy has suffered a lot due to ignorance of his owner, but fortunately he realized that giving up was the right option. And that can also be said sometimes.
