Police find turtle in buddyseat scooter.

Police Groningen had a very special discovery in the buddyseat of a scooter when they were doing something very different....

A turtle came out of it.

The turtle was immediately secured and taken to the office. Fortunately, the officer who took care of him acted well and took care of the beast. Luckily we can always call the helpers of Stichting Dierenopvangcentrum Groningen and they picked up the turtle for us.

The turtle was unfortunately in poor condition, damaged shell with abrasions and turtle rot. In addition, the animal was very skinny. Of course, we will get to work on this immediately.

We can’t help but name the turtle after his rescuer from the police and that’s why he goes through life as Found-Groningen-Willem from now on.
