Turtle safely removed from the A12

Last week we received a report via Dierenambulance Barneveld that a truck driver on the A12 near Ede had taken a turtle from the flight lane. The driver had to continue his journey and the animal was therefore transported to The Hague.

Thanks to quick switching between Linda, her former colleagues from Dierenambulance Barneveld and our colleagues from Dierenambulance Nederrijn, Martijne was able to take over the turtle that same night at the expedition center. Colleagues already brought a suitable transport box, so that no detour to the reporting station was necessary and the animal could stay overnight safely.

Thanks to everyone who was involved.
