Today is October 4th #worldanimalday

Of course, our turtles are pampered every day and we try to give them every day, the day of their lives 🐢❤

- The date of Animal Day goes back to the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi (October 4). He was concerned about the fate of lepers, vagrants and other poor people, but also about plants and animals. According to tradition, he once gave a sermon to the animals. -

Animal Day is a day to appreciate your animal once more, that he / she is always there for you! But also think about the fate of all the abandoned animals.. Help in your area where it is needed, it really makes a difference!

Would you like to do something for our turtles? Then make a small donation, so that they can stay warm this winter. PS: Stichting DierenLot ❤ doubled your donation until Oct 8.
