Six abandoned turtles Spijkenisse

Yesterday we were called by animal ambulance Dieren4U from Spijkenisse.

Someone had contacted us that the owner of 6 turtles had already left with the northern sun 2 months ago and had left the animals behind.

Today, employees of Dieren4u so go pick up the animals to safely accommodate with us.

It is again a colorful collection of species and we continue to find it incomprehensible how someone can just leave his animals. Luckily the animals are all in reasonable condition but it means that we have 6 mouths to feed in the coming years.

The feeding per turtle is about 10 euro per month so we hope to get a lot of "friends of the shelter" again.

Dierenlot has now also an ACTION, that every euro you give in the month of September, will be doubled!! This can be done via this link: https://dierenlot.digicollect.nl/stichting...

Become a friend via the link below and can be for 10 euros per year.

We are an ANBI foundation so donations are deductible on the tax return. :-
