Are turtles in Groningen written to death?

In Groningen, aquatic turtles are regularly seen in the Noorderplantsoen or other ponds in the summer. According to Stichting Schildpaddenopvang Nederland is the life of these turtles not at all as rosy as it seems. In our climate these turtles survive only a few years. The presence of these turtles also has major consequences for biodiversity. We (Partij van de Dieren Gemeente Groningen) therefore ask questions about this.
