Wandering yellow-faced turtle finds her salvation in children!

Children and their teacher found a turtle yesterday on an 80 kilometer road in Epe.
The animal ambulance in Apeldoorn that they called said that they do not drive for that....

Surprised, the children searched the internet with Juf and found that turtles found should go to the turtle shelter, because they do not survive in the Dutch nature.

After having called the national Meldpunt voor gevonden Schildpadden (088-4440700 schildpad-gevonden.nl) Vogelgroep Kampen was called to help.

After explanations were given, the children uniquely marked the turtle with nail polish and registered it, it went on a trip to Harkema.
