The unfortunate turtle Henry

The day before yesterday I picked up an unfortunate turtle from nice people who found it in a place where it should not be, namely along a dirty ditch.

The animal ambulance told them to just put him back, but that woman thought it was a weird story and called the turtle shelter. I jumped right into the car.

He was sitting under the mud, pretending to be dead and didn't look great.

After two days, it begins to thaw a little. He already eats well and makes contact. And I think that's so nice of him.

We just went to the vet for an inflamed eye. Take some ointment with you and keep a close eye on her. The vet thought it was an incredibly cute animal, and I too

I wish I didn't get a bond with those stupid turtles, but they are so sweet and cute, it's impossible not to feel for them.

Henry will continue to recover here and as soon as transport is possible, as soon as possible to the shelter in Friesland.
