Christmas market Primary school Icarus from Heemstede

This week Primary School Icarus from Heemstede held a Christmas market for the benefit of the turtle shelter. Earlier this year their two "school" turtles were housed with us.
The children were very impressed where the turtles ended up. That is why they wanted to do something back, the Christmas market was a huge success and they have raised an amount of 1031 euros!!

The children had made a turtle from papier-maché which served as a donation box, superrr creatiefff.

We are superrrr proud of the kids and with the money we can spoil our turtles again ❤
