Old wise curious Lars (94) speaking on Animal Day

Hello dear people and/or @followers, I'm Lars, I've been around this world for a long time, I'm super curious, have lived in different places, and have already "worn out" 2 long-term owners... I have been living in Harkema for more than 10 years. I used to be taken by a sailor from Brazil after I was traded for money at a market and after a month-long journey at sea, given to a girl in Scheveningen. I have lost my exact birth date after all those years, but here in Harkema they have decided that my birthday is on October 4, World Animal Day 2024, so I turned 94 today I crawled out of the egg according to documents in the year 1931, only 1 year earlier in 1930 the feast day of St. Francis was proclaimed as World Animal Day because Francis in particular was so drawn to the fate of animals. I am very honoured that this day has also become my birthday and maybe, was it so that my egg was laid in 1930?

Often when I dream of bananas and strawberries (because I am a tropical mostly fruit-eating turtle) I also dream that all animals in the world may have a life like me, because I hope that it is also for them every day animal day, although I know by now that there is a lot of animal suffering, I sometimes catch some here and there of my friends in the daycare, but also outside when they don't realize that I'm using their laptop at night use for internet, to stay well informed and so on I keep hoping and dreaming for more wisdom of all people, so that they better understand that every animal also wants to have a beating heart, feeling and a good life like you and me.

For people it is normal to get presents when they are birthdays, I myself love bananas and strawberries as gifts I don't care about money because it tastes like nothing and you seem to be very unhappy if you have too much or too little of it!
