Riot over “neighbourhood turtle” in Warmenhuizen

This weekend there was a riot in a neighborhood somewhere in the North Holland Warmenhuizen. A finder of a loose-running aquatic turtle has accommodated the turtle with us. This is not taken away from her in gratitude. She should have asked this?!...
After several neighbors have brought a case against us, where they were very indecent and did not even want to listen to our story. They keep shouting that they want the turtle back and will go on for as long as they can to get this done!

The turtle was brought here, has turtle rot and was very thin. Despite the fact that we have communicated this and thereby given our general information that turtles suffer in nature, the ego turns out to be bigger and they want the turtle back. The fact that the animal is in a bad condition does not bother them. They want to keep watching a suffering and dying turtle in their neighborhood pond.

In any case, we have made it clear that the turtle will not return under any circumstances and that it will remain here. Unfortunately, these people do not accept this and now repeatedly start to whine like a bunch of small children. We are constantly called and emailed with words and threats that I do not repeat here. They are also now posting bad reviews.

I am ashamed as a human being, that they are capable of this, purely for their own pleasure!

Let it be clear that we are not sensitive to threats. Also threatened to come by.... We have been in front of hotter fires:) The turtle stays here i.i.g!
