Turtles dumped on mailbox in Groningen.

About three weeks ago we made a call because there was a turtle at a bus stop in Breda in a container with a bus of food. In the post we stated that if people really need to get rid of their animals urgently, we are always willing to help or think with.

Today we can make another bizarre story.

In Haren (Groningen) there are three musk turtles in a closed box on a mailbox at a seniors flat.

The animals were standing there for a while the color of the water to see. There is a deliberately made air hole in.

Luckily a lady from the flat found the animals and they are Animal Shelter Center Groningen picked up, and then come to us. Thank you very much for that

It often triggers a lot of reactions and yes.. it's better to put them in a visible place than to dump them in the ditch. But come on....

If you choose to take an animal, you have responsibility for it. You entered into that at the time you purchased an animal.

Of course, there are situations where you sometimes have to give up an animal, but do it neatly. Had just called us! No money? We always think along.

What if someone with the wrong intentions had found these animals?

We sincerely hope that the owner will contact us so that we can get some information about the turtles.

We don't get angry. We like explanations.

The turtles were found this afternoon on the mailbox at the Laarmanhof in Haren. We hope that someone has seen something or recognized the creatures.
